The Brand Bank contains everything to do with your brand- from your brand guide, copy, colours, etc. You will dip into this Brand Bank every day. I use it to write and design all my communication across every touchpoint. It will save you a ton of time as this will clarify your values, vision and mission and ensure that you are strategically deploying these ideas throughout your business.

When I start coaching a client, one of the first things we do is assemble a Brand Bank. This is a growth database, a resource that you develop as your business develops.

I encourage you to create as few databases as possible. However, there is a place for some additional databases, and a Brand Bank database is one of them.

If you have completed the Notion for Interior Designers Introductory series on YouTube and built or downloaded the hub plus the databases , you can place this database under the Growth tab.

There are endless ways to set up a Brand Bank. I encourage you to set it up in a way that is most useful to you. However, I included an example database here to make it easier. Please use this as inspiration and tailor it to your own needs!

Some of the ways you can use the Brand Bank database:

How to customise the Brand Bank database

• Do use a web extension such as the Notion clipper or GoFullPage to save information to this database. It is quick and easy. Here is a video explaining how.
• Link your Capture or notes + ideas database to the Brand Bank by creating Linked views
• Do update your entries in this database as your business develops. You can store multiple versions and adjust as you grow and evolve as a business.

Customise your Views and Properties

Views and Properties will help you interact with this data in useful ways.

Think about how you want to use this database. What do you want to see?

You may just want to create gallery views so that you can just see your brand colours, or group your items by the frequency that you use them. Add properties to this database so that you can use them more efficiently.
